Four Impromptus op. 90 D 899

Dazzling impressionistic colour schemes, variations on Spanish-Portuguese dances, and soothing excursions into nature. Vsevolod Zavidov brings all of this vividly to life on the piano in Ludwigsburg. A graduate of the Russian school, the pianist is regarded as one of the most extraordinary piano talents of our era. In 2016, at the age of ten, he made his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. Since then, he has performed in all of Russia’s major concert halls, given recitals across Europe, toured the northeastern United States and Japan, and, in April 2024, stepped in at short notice for Khatia Buniatishvili. The multiple award winner always has the same aim for his concerts: to focus on the music and the composers. With technical mastery and a talent for highlighting the harmonic richness of music, he excels in the art of musical storytelling

The concert is part of Festival-Subscription I.
