Classical music faces the challenge of staying relevant without forsaking its tradition. Three Israeli musicians, Yael Kareth, Sharon Kam, and Chen Reiss, are convinced of this. Kareth therefore teaches her students to create concert experiences that go beyond mere performance, and Sharon Kam regularly bridges contemporary sounds with tradition through her clarinet playing. This shared passion for music promises a chamber music evening of the highest calibre. At the summer solstice, the trio reflects on and explores the passion, tragedy, and emotional depth of Romanticism – leaving no emotional realm untouched. The sound of the clarinet and the deeply expressive soprano of Chen Reiss guide us through fantasies and Elysium. With great verve and playful joy, the highs and lows of declarations of love are recreated, solemn vows are made, and, last but not least, profound illusions are brought to life, only to then – with a wink – view earthly existence from a heavenly perspective.
