Kunstzentrum Karlskaserne

The former barracks, with its old brick buildings and chestnut trees, houses numerous rooms with studios for visual arts, dance, theater, and music. For our new festival night format, however, it is less their interior than their exterior that is of interest: on two summer evenings, the courtyard and façade are transformed into an urban stage where jazz, folk, afrobeat, and soul come together with dance interludes at lofty heights to offer an evening full of contrasts.
