Akademie für Darstellende Kunst

The ADK is a nationally and internationally recognized training center for theater (acting | directing | dramaturgy). Together with the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, the ADK forms a campus, a unique creative laboratory at the intersection of theater, film, and media technology. Studying at the ADK allows students to try out new and forward-looking narrative styles using new technologies on stage and in film and to experiment in different spaces: theater spaces, film, urban spaces –industrial wastelands and museum spaces – landscapes, and digital space.

The academy cooperates on a project basis with numerous cultural and academic institutions nationally and internationally, including once again with the Ludwigsburg Festival in 2026.
