The conductor Hans-Christoph Rademann now teaches where he once studied choral and orchestral conducting and founded the Dresdner Kammerchor: the Dresden Collage of Music. He has already conducted the NDR Choir, the RIAS Kammerchor Berlin and, since 2013, the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart, where he re–established the ensemble Gaechinger Cantorey. Although his focus is on the works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Heinrich Schütz, his repertoire includes early music as well as world premieres of contemporary compositions. Rademann has performed worldwide in collaboration with numerous ensembles such as the Netherlands Bach Society and the Stuttgart Philharmonic. He is also the director of the Musikfest Erzgebirge and founder of the educational project »BachBewegt!«. He has received numerous awards for his artistic and social commitment, including the Heinrich Schütz Prize and the European Church Music Prize.
