The award-winning string ensemble LGT Young Soloists consist of exceptional talents from over 20 nations. Founded in 2013 by violinist and pedagogue Alexander Gilman, the ensemble follows a unique concept: young soloists perform with an orchestra, accompany each other and share their passion for music. Following a celebrated comeback after the coronavirus pandemic, the LGT Young Soloists premiered Philip Glass’ String Symphony in London and Vienna. They have performed at the Heidelberger Frühling, the Merano Festival and in renowned concert halls such as the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Kennedy Center Washington, D.C. For the 2024/25 season, performances are scheduled in Zurich and Würzburg and tours through Australia, Asia, and North America. With seven highly acclaimed albums, they have set new standards: they were the first youth orchestra to release an album on Sony Music/RCA Red Seal. Their album »Beethoven RECOMPOSED« reached the top of the classical music charts worldwide.
