Alexandra Dovgan was born into a family of musicians in 2007 and began her piano studies at four and a half. At age five, she passed the highly selective entrance exam at the Academic Central Music School in Moscow, which marked the beginning of her exciting career as a pianist. She has since delighted audiences in the world’s most important concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonie, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysees Paris, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and the Konzerthaus Vienna, celebrated her first recital at the Salzburg Festival and made a series of impressive debuts with Gustavo Dudamel and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and Paavo Järvi and with the Bergen Philharmonic under the direction of Pietari Inkinen. In 2024, the pianist received the Prix Serdang from Rudolf Buchbinder and Adrian Flury, recognising her successes and already distinguished career.
