The pianist Stephan Matthias Lademann is said to have a sensitive touch when he sits down at the keys. The pianist, born in Meissen, discovered his passion for song accompaniment and chamber music during his piano studies at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. Since then, he has impressed as the musical accompaniment of renowned artists at recitals, chamber music programmes or literary projects. His work can be heard in numerous CD recordings, notably with soprano Marlis Petersen, with whom he received an award from the French Record Critics in 2018 for their joint recording »Welt«. In addition to concert tours to major music centres in Europe, America and Asia, his centre of life is now in Vienna, where he passes on his knowledge at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst.
