The British pianist Simon Lepper received his training at King's College Cambridge. He now holds a professorship in piano accompaniment at the Royal College of Music in London and is the official accompanist for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition. As a sought-after Lied pianist, he regularly works with renowned singers such as Christopher Maltman, Elizabeth Watts, Sophie Bevan, and Benjamin Appl. He toured India with the latter in 2018. Together with mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. An invitation to London's Wigmore Hall is one of the recent highlights. In addition, a recital tour with baritone Stéphane Degout took him to the Ravinia Festival and the Edinburgh Festival.
