Initially a trained guitarist and pianist, Carlo Vistoli dedicated himself to his countertenor career from 2007 onwards, achieving significant competition and stage success within a few years. His entry into Le Jardin des Voix des Arts Florissants in 2015 enabled the Italian singer to give many international performances. Vistoli has since been a guest at the Ravenna Festival, the Salzburg Festival, La Scala in Milan, Venice's Teatro la Fenice, and the Pinchgut Opera Festival in Brisbane, among others. Past projects have brought him together with Sir John Eliot Gardner, Philippe Jaroussky, Giovanni Antonini, and Leonardo García Alarcón, among others. In 2022/23, collaborations with Julia Lezhneva, Raphaël Pichon, and Cecilia Bartoli will follow, as well as his Ludwigsburg debut.
