Vistoli, Vivaldi – Virtuosity. The two protagonists Carlo Vistoli and Antonio Vivaldi promise a highly virtuosic and at the same time profound programme. One countertenor's voice meets the compositions and together with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, they fill the baroque Schlosstheater with highlights of the Italian baroque. Like hardly any other composer, Vivaldi gave sacred music a new, unheard-of emotional power. At the same time devotion and expressive tone always go hand in hand.
