You can buy your ticket here in the webshop or in the calendar overview, print it out yourself via print@home or have it sent to you.

Please note: With the exception of tickets for festival guests in training, no discounts can be booked online.

Box office

Tickets for our events are also available an hour before the event starts at the box office of the venue. Please note that only cash payment is possible.

Payment

Tickets may be paid for by SEPA direct debit, credit card (MasterCard, VISA), the Ludwigsburg-Gutschein (Voucher), or in cash at the ticket office. Payment by EC card or cash is possible at the box office.

Fees

There is a shipping and handling fee of € 4.30 for each order (€ 6.40 for orders of € 250 or more). There is no fee for a print@home order in the online shop. 

Reservations

Please collect reserved tickets at least 30 minutes before the start of the performance. The ticket price must be paid even if reserved tickets are not collected.

Ticket return

Please check your tickets immediately. Later complaints cannot be considered. In principle, neither exchange nor return of tickets is possible. See also Terms and Conditions.

Young festival guests

Festival guests in training receive in advance tickets from the 2nd category for 15 € for almost all events. At the box office they will receive remaining tickets for 10 € 30 minutes before the start of the event. This applies to pupils, trainees, students as well as youth and federal volunteers, regardless of age. These tickets are sponsored by the Ruprecht Foundation.

Severely disabled

Persons with a degree of disability of 80 or more receive a 50% discount (except for events with consumption). Persons with a B in their disability card receive a free ticket for an accompanying person.

Ludwigsburg Card

Holders of the Ludwigsburg Card or comparable authorization cards receive one free ticket each for all events at the Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele ticket office, subject to availability. The tickets are only available at the Schlossfestspiele ticket office and from 14 days before the event date.

Elective subscription

For those who want to put together their own individual and personalized subscription package, the elective subscription is just right. You can choose at least three events from this season’s program and receive a 10% discount on your ticket order.

Combined ticket

As part of the Fazıl Says artist residency, you can attend the two concerts »Fazıl Say Friends« and »Fazıl Say Latenight« together at a reduced ticket price.

Comfort package »Monrepos Open Air«

As a new service, the Schlossfestspiele offers its guests of the «Monrepos Open Air« a comfort package: When purchasing tickets for the first category (ticket price €90 each), a comfort package can be booked for €30 each. It includes a marginal seat at the center aisles with a particularly good view of the stage and an additional fast lane for admission to the open-air area, a seat in the comfort area of the beer garden, a seat cushion as well as a little surprise. The seats with Comfort Package are limited and subject to availability.

Public transportation

Ludwigsburg can be reached from Stuttgart in 15 minutes by the S-Bahn lines S4 (direction Marbach/Backnang) and S5 (direction Bietigheim). In addition, regional trains on the Stuttgart-Heilbronn, Stuttgart-Bruchsal, Stuttgart-Pforzheim, Stuttgart-Mosbach/Neckarelz, and Stuttgart-Würzburg railroad lines stop at Ludwigsburg station. The walk from the station to the Forum am Schlosspark venue (approx. 10 minutes) and to the Residenzschloss (approx. 15 minutes) is signposted.

You can reach the venues by bus from the train station as follows:

The Residenzschloss with the lines 421 (direction Neckarweihingen), 427 (direction Hoheneck) and 430 (direction Poppenweiler).

You can reach the Forum am Schlosspark by bus line 421 (direction Oßweil Mehrzweckhalle), line 433 (direction Poppenweiler Burghaldenstr.) and line 533 (direction Aldingen Mühlweg) with exit at the stop »Agentur für Arbeit«.

You can also reach Karlskaserne by bus line 421 and 433. (Get off at the Landratsamt stop).

Arrival by car

Ludwigsburg is connected to the A 81 motorway by two exits. Coming from Munich/Stuttgart, take the exit Ludwigsburg Süd, coming from Würzburg/Heilbronn, take the exit Ludwigsburg Nord. From Stuttgart and Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg can also be easily reached via the B 27. The way to the city centre is signposted.

Parking recommendations

Please familiarize yourself with the city of Ludwigsburg’s parking guidance system before you arrive and allow sufficient time to find a parking space. We recommend that you travel by public transport.

Schlosshof

Schlossstraße 30, only for evening events in the Residenzschloss, open from one hour before the start of the event, evening flat rate: € 5.

Parking garage Marstall

Charlottenstraße, Mon to Sun 0-24 hrs, 1st hour rate: €1, each additional hour: €1.20, maximum daily rate: €10 (€5 on Sundays)

Parking lot Bärenwiese / Forum

Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, Mon to Sun 0-24 hrs, tariff 1st hour: €1, each additional hour: €0.50, maximum daily rate: €4, evening flat rate: Mon to Sun 6-7 hrs: €3. To avoid waiting times, you can purchase the evening flat rate before the event.

Please note: Parking is restricted during the Pferdemarkt (31 May to 2 June). Please use the surrounding car parks (Rathausgarage).
